About Alanna Maniatis

Alanna graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island with a B.S. in Marketing in 2018. She decided her passion was in helping others and earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from New England Institute of Technology in 2021. She brings exercise experience from her 10+ years of group and personal training, with hands-on experience in IASTM, cupping, and Kinesiology taping, among other manual interventions.

Alanna has been an athlete her entire life — starting off competitively in ice hockey before shifting focus to field hockey, which she played at the Division 1 level for Providence College for two years before choosing to focus on her health and studies. That full-spectrum athlete experience shapes how she treats: with empathy, an understanding of what motivates each patient, and a mixture of manual, hands-on techniques and progressive exercise to ensure lasting results. As a PTA she provides treatment in close coordination with your physical therapist, who oversees your plan of care.
